Marketing Manager

Since 1978 Banks Group has grown into one of the premier Accounting firms in Melbourne. Now with the support of our Sydney and New Zealand offices we have grown to over 120 staff. Providing services in Accounting and Financial Planning our service lines have some of the most dynamic and dominant players in the industry.

Due to expansion we are seeking to recruit a Marketing & Communications Manager. Reporting to the Partner, your responsibilities will involve all generalist areas of marketing and strategic marketing initiatives. The role involves both organisational and individual marketing objectives and ultimately to improve client awareness of the Banks Group brand and growth of the firm's client base.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Development and Implementation of marketing initiatives, policies and procedures
Assistance with marketing initiatives for specialist divisions and industry specialisations
Research into the firms industry performance and targeted industry groups
Coordination of firms activities at promotional forums, seminars and conferences
Coordination of tenders and proposals
Coordination and management of CRM (Client Relationship Management) process
Coordination of Newsletters
Develop and implement social media campaigns using Facebook, LinkedIn and the website
Manage e-communication and maintain social media and website presence
Specific activities as directed by the Partner

The desired candidate will possess:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing
Experience working in Professional Services ideally Financial Services preferable but not essential
Well developed interpersonal skills including management and leadership skills
Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work autonomously and in a team
High level of IT competency
A tertiary qualification
